From this normative textual paradigm, doctrine emerged: everything that is believed and implemented when there is an order (the Qur'an and hadith). Meanwhile, in a rationalistic context, the Qur'an and Hadith also remain the main references, but in the belief and experience of the worldly muamalah field, the doctrine applies, everything can be done as long as there is no prohibition or conflict with the Qur'an and Sunnah, with the idea that what eternal (unquestionable) is the text of the Qur'an (Qath'i al-Wurud), while the formulation of its interpretation remains relative (Zanny al-Dilalah), also the hadith which includes the text of Qath'i al-Wurud also includes the text of Zanny al-Wurud.
Viewed from a philosophical perspective (Muchlas Rowi, ed, 1999), the method of understanding the texts of the Qur'an and Hadith no longer relies solely on an axiomatic-positivistic-monistic pattern of understanding, it is time for this orientation to be replaced with a method of assumptive-probabilistic-pluralistic understanding. Because, the text of the Al-Qur'an (including hadith) contains elements of signs (one meaning), signals (two meanings) and symbols (many meanings) in other words, the interpretation of the Al-Qur'an and Hadith can be monistic, dualistic, and pluralistic.
The Islamic reconstruction paradigm is a balanced paradigm between amaliyah and fiqhiyah and a balance between the historical, empirical and routine orientation of the Islamic movement with an orientation towards metaphysical-philosophical areas of thought while still using the authentic texts of the Qur'an and Hadith as the main reference. namely Muslims with a caliphate-mission vision of worship with Islam as a religion for all mankind and humanity or can be termed the Humanist Islamic Paradigm and Islamic Humanism.
